Four squishies. One grid. Last one bouncing wins.

Bouncelings is a free tactical multiplayer arena game for 4 players. It looks like a chaotic party game, but every turn is a small puzzle: you have only a few seconds to read the board, guess what the other three will do, and commit to your jump.

HOW IT WORKS

Every turn, all four players pick a tile at the same moment and jump together. Whatever you land on goes off: heals, shields, boosts, lasers, paint bombs, air strikes and hidden mines.

The twist: while you are in the air, the whole board slides down one row. The tile you click is not the tile you get. You have to aim one tile lower than the power you want.

WHY YOU HAVE TO THINK

- Read the row above, not your own row. That is what you will land on.

- Predict the others. If two players land on the same tile, they roll for it and the loser takes damage and gets knocked back.

- Manage your health and buffs. Healing at full health is wasted, a second shield does nothing, and Rage only pays off if there is something to hit next.

- Time your escape. Warp can save you when you are cornered, or throw away a good position.

- The clock speeds up. You start with 8 seconds to think and end with 2.

Bouncelings is an independent homage to Jelly Battle, a 2007 Flash game that disappeared years ago, rebuilt from scratch with new characters, art and code. The character art and key art were made with the help of AI image tools.
